There are wonderful walks to be had throughout Dartmouth all year., with the Town situated on the South West Coast Path and within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. AONB!
A beautiful walk to Dartmouth Castle , walk there and if you wish take the Ferry Back or walk to the stunning beach of Blackpool Sands and sit at our favourite cafe /restaurant Venus and watch the waves - all weather!

Explore the National Trusts beautiful Coleton Fishacre estate. Or Greenway House holiday home of Agatha Christie. The river always awaits fr cruising. Take the ferry to Dartmouth Castle, the town of Kingswear, or stunning Dittisham. If steam trains are your thing, the Dartmouth Steam railway to Paignton is a totally charming way to travel.

One of the most iconic shopping areas is the Old Market Square which was built as a pannier market in 1828. The shops are open Monday to Saturday, with an open market held every Tuesday and Saturday in the car park beside the square.
